Tips for a healthy life (don’t let the weeds grow too long)

Tips for a healthy life (don’t let the weeds grow too long).

1. Make some time each day to sit quietly with yourself, preferably in the morning so you start your life that day with clarity.

2. Take a shower or bath in the evening to cleanse all those thoughts and worries and doubts you’ve gathered away from your body.

3. Brush your teeth regularly (had to say that right?)

4. Meet up with a good friend or partner or other person you like to enjoy something physical. It could be a walk, a meal or drink, a chat, a meditation or yoga session. Bond with your community. It’s important for your well-being.

5. Take time each hour to breathe, to feel into your lungs. They do a marvelous job for you each and every day of your wonderful life.

6. Laugh, with people who bring this out in you, through books or funny movies. Allow yourself to smile every day. THIS is important too. 😉

7. Don’t try so hard. Then life will actually be easy.

8. Look at the big picture yes, then do the little things daily that get you towards that. One day at a time. You don’t have to, or even can you, do it all at once.

9. It’s OK to change your mind, to admit that maybe you made a mistake.
We are all learning, growing, developing and discovering. Each and every day.
What you know now you didn’t know yesterday. So how could you have done it the other way? There are lessons and insights and regrets and new chances daily, weekly and monthly.
You don’t have to, or indeed could you be whatever it is you call perfect in every second.

10. There has to be a 10, right? Well, let’s leave that up to you. What do you know that you need in your life today, this week? Your life, don’t worry about anyone else’s, their needs, their preconceptions, their thoughts.
Get quiet, take a breathe and tune in. What is your number 10 on your list today?

Have fun. Remember you are always learning and growing. Even if it doesn’t feel like it at times.

Take care of yourself. Kindness. Patience, understanding are good places to start (and live from).
Allow things to flow…
